This page describes processing related to the website and requests sent to Groupe Renner SA, under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
Data controller
Groupe Renner SA, Rue de Cornavin 11, 1201 Geneva, Switzerland, is the data controller. The person responsible for the establishment handles requests personally. For questions or requests concerning your data, contact hotel@laposte-saintcergue.ch.
Data and purposes
Depending on your enquiry, we receive your name, email address, telephone number, preferred dates, number of guests, any activity and regional package details, and your message. We use these details to reply and handle your stay or table enquiry. Within the establishment, only the person responsible for it reads these requests. No additional customer management software, tracking file or newsletter tool is used for these enquiries. No payments are made on this website and no banking details are requested here. It has no booking engine. Hotel reservations are made on Booking. The restaurant form prepares an email enquiry, which requires our confirmation.
Entered information remains in your browser until your mail app opens. We receive it only if you send the e-mail.
Reopening notification
With your consent, your email address is used solely to announce the reopening. You may withdraw your consent by writing to hotel@laposte-saintcergue.ch. Your address is removed from this list after the announcement or at your request. It is not added to a commercial newsletter.
Retention
Routine enquiries are moved to the trash as soon as they have been dealt with. For emails, moving a message to the trash does not erase it immediately: Infomaniak states that the relevant folders are automatically cleared after 30 days. Backup copies may remain temporarily according to the provider’s retention periods. This practice does not override any obligation to retain separately documents required by law. Addresses used for the reopening announcement are removed from the list after the announcement or withdrawal of consent.
Recipients and hosting
Email is provided by Infomaniak Network SA in Switzerland. Infomaniak states that its Mail Service is hosted in Switzerland. The website is published with OpenAI Sites on Cloudflare infrastructure. Technical providers help deliver, route and secure these services. The hosting region that actually applies to this site and the contractual safeguards for any transfers abroad remain to be confirmed. The forms do not send their contents to the website’s server: they prepare an email that you choose to send.
Your rights
To request access to, correction or deletion of your data, or to exercise other rights under the Swiss Data Protection Act where applicable, write to hotel@laposte-saintcergue.ch. The person responsible for the establishment handles your request. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
External links and cookies
Booking, Google Maps and WhatsApp links open external services governed by their own policies. Reservations made on Booking are processed on that platform. WhatsApp is a Meta service. The interactive swisstopo maps on the Activities page load only when you click “Show interactive map”. This connects to geo.admin.ch, which receives your IP address and technical connection information. You can read the activities without activating the maps. No advertising tool or analytics has been added to the website code. Accessing the site nevertheless involves technical connection processing by the hosting provider, separate from the contents of the forms.

To apply, you may email your contact details, experience, availability and CV. The recruitment form prepares your message; attach your CV in your email app before sending it. No CV is uploaded to or stored on the website server. Documents are received at hotel@laposte-saintcergue.ch to review your application. Contact the same address with questions about your data.
