A stay in the heart of Saint-Cergue
In the centre of Saint-Cergue (VD), Switzerland, La Poste Hotel and Restaurant is a base for exploring the Vaud Jura near Nyon. After reopening, our seven rooms will welcome guests for a stopover, a mountain weekend or a longer stay discovering the region. To arrive without a car, take the NStCM R55 train from Nyon towards Saint-Cergue and La Cure, getting off at St-Cergue. From the station, head towards the village centre and our address at Route de Nyon 5. If you drive, we have four parking spaces available on request and subject to availability; please contact us before your visit to have a space confirmed. In winter, the village ski slopes are approximately five minutes away on foot. Their opening depends on snow conditions and information from the operators. In warmer months, explore walking routes in the Parc Jura vaudois, towards La Dôle or around La Givrine. Choose a route that suits your fitness and check the weather before setting out. The hotel does not serve breakfast, so plan your morning meal in the village and check local opening hours ahead of your stay. Is parking available at the hotel?
We have four parking spaces available on request and subject to availability. Contact us before arrival to confirm a space and the parking arrangements. Booking a room does not automatically guarantee a parking space. Nearby public car parks include Ancienne-Poste and Sy-Vieuxville, subject to available spaces. The municipality lists a rate of CHF 1/hour, the first 90 minutes free with mandatory registration, and free parking from 6 pm to 8 am. Check the signs on site, especially overnight snow-clearing restrictions in winter.
Are pets allowed?
Our pet policy for reopening is still to be confirmed. Before booking, contact us with details of your pet so that we can confirm whether we can welcome it and under what conditions.
Is breakfast available?
No, the hotel does not serve breakfast. To start your day, we recommend Saint-Cergue’s bakeries and tea rooms, including Le P’tit Gourmand at Rue de la Gare 1 and Le Comptoir du Vieux-Château. They are lovely places for a morning treat in the village. Please check their opening hours before visiting.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3 pm. Earlier check-in can be arranged on request, subject to availability. Check-out is by 12 noon. Consult your booking details and contact us ahead of your visit to arrange your arrival, especially if you expect to arrive late.
Is there a ski storage room?
Yes, the hotel has a ski storage room where you can leave your equipment during your stay.
How do I reach the hotel by train from Nyon?
